Agency Development Manager
I joined the Agency in 1995, working for my father-in-law, who established the Agency in 1981. I’m a graduate of Charleston Southern University (Go Bucs!) As Agency Development Manager, I am responsible for the implementation of growth strategies for the agency through technology solutions, developing our team members’ skills and talents through coaching, or even through the acquisition of new locations, all with the goal of serving our clients better.
My day-to-day duties are sometimes wide and varied, but usually involve interacting with clients and agency team members, and focused around designing the best insurance solutions to fit our clients’ needs. While I specialize in commercial insurance, there is no account, personal or commercial, too large or too small for my attention. I love using my problem-solving skills to make sure we’re meeting and exceeding our clients’ needs!
My husband & I just celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary, and we love serving our community through our local church and the many outreach opportunities we have at Northwood Church at Carnes. We are passionate about a few outreach opportunities in particular, such as Turkey Outreach, Water Mission, and Married Life. We have a grown son, who lives in North Carolina with his wife. We love spending as much time with them as possible. Our favorite place on earth is Folly Beach, SC, and, when we’re not working, that’s where you’ll find us. If the weather isn’t nice enough to be on the water, then we’re probably watching sports or binge-watching something on Netflix!
